If you like celtic. You'll love this. Soothing, predictable music to lay back and enjoy.

I enjoy 'shadow of time' as much as I do any of their earlier works. To me, Nightnoise is wonderful midnight music. Their music is my personal soundtrack when working at the desk on projects while everyone else is asleep. Glad to add this CD to my collection.

There's not much extra special about this cd. I picked it so I would get free shipping and I don't regret my decision. It's excellent meditation or background peaceful music. Quality is excellent and the musicians put together very nice songs, but it's not something I'd sit down to listen to. It's wonderful for putting on when you're stressed, just running in the background will subconsciously soothe you ^_^

I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS CD FOR A LONG TIME AND HAVE FOUND IT AGAIN. I AM GOING TO HANG ON TO IT THIS TIME! WHETHER YOU WANT TO KICK BACK, HAVE SOME GREAT DINNER MUSIC, OR JUST BE THIS IS THE CD!

If you like all of the earlier works of Nightnoise, you will not be disappointed by this one. Excellently recorded.

WARNING! The currently (Nov. 2011) shipping stock of this audio CD is apparently from a bad pressing. The last several tracks run into the track time of each following track. This means that if you select a single track for play, beginning with track 7 (of 12), the music starts shortly before the end of the preceding track and ends in the middle of the music before that song is finished.

That would actually not really matter as long as you listen to the CD in its entirety, except that the very last track simply gets cut off before the end. The end of the last track is not on the CD. It is a very rude and disconcerting end of the CD in the middle of a note. I returned the first CD I received, and the replacement is exactly the same. (And the replacement arrived the day I shipped the return, so I know it was not the same CD.)

The music is beautiful, but the bad pressing of the CDs ruins it.

I was dissapointed with this CD. As a HUGE Nightnoise fan, I have every Nightnoise CD, as well as many Various Artist CDs (mostly Windham Hill) featuring them. This CD however, is not one that makes Nightnoise one of my favorite bands. Its dull.. and almost boring! Especially the song "Silly Flanks". Don't get me wrong, I love that track, on the CD "White Horse Sessions".. Its upbeat and makes me want to get up and dance.. but on this CD its like a whole other song. I suppose that I do have a taste for live though. Every track on this CD sounds the same.. and while it is Nightnoise, and you still have to like that, you don't love it. The CD I'd recommend to a newcommer to Nightnoise is "A Different Shore". That is by far Nightnoise's best CD.

This is an excellent CD. The CD was in excellent with no scratches or marks on it at all.
