This is one album I loved from the first time I heard it. The first two songs, Shadowfeet and Deciphering me, are my favorite. Very insightful and full of hope. She is reminiscent of Nora Jones and Janis Ian combined. Her voice has a beautiful tone and very lyrical.

Really beautiful song from Brooke. Song is stunning lyrically. I think if you like Brooke and her songwriting you'd probably also like my current new favorite artist I found through myspace. See my other reviews for The Warehouse Band
