Aresnal is a great addition to the core rules of SR4. Catalyst has taken the old source material from several source books, thrown it into one book with lots of old favorites and great new items to help build your shadowrunner. What I like most is the examples and rules that clarify in very good detail any questions you may have about items and their use.

I believe this to be an essential addition to the core rules adding a tremendous amount of gear and customization to your personal firearms, vehicles, drones, as well as detailing unarmed combat techniques. A definite invaluable addition to the SR4 Universe.

Unless you're playing a magicly active PC, this is the best suppliment. It has great optional combat ideas as well as neat gear. The martial arts stuff is great. The unique armors are cool, especically the piece-meal system. I like the lasers too. The modication system for vehicles as well as for guns are very fun to play around with for custom effects. There's even rules for pimping the ride!

This is a GREAT book. If your looking for a supplement for your Shadowrun game, this is the book for you chummer. Magic books, Matrix books, mega-corp books...those are fine and well. This book is relevant TO ALL PLAYERS. If you don't get this book, your cheating yourself and your fellow Runners.

the book has a different cover but its the same insides ... again they didn't edit the content with errata but still a awesome book for better game options

Arsenal is well set out, interesting and features enough pictures to satisfy. The pages are made of paper and therefore tear easily and are easily damaged by water. But the content is gold, even if the cover art is horrible (as seems to be common for 4th edition books).
