I grew up running home from school to see the next episode of DS, the figure definitely brings back memories and a great start to any collection.
Arrived in excellant condition and the packaging is just as important as the figure itself. I was pleased with the prompt delivery and secure packaging. Hope someday they add more figures to this collection. Hes staying in the box as much as I want to play with him. I'm sure this item will increase in value as time goes on.

Im a huge fan of Dan Curtis and Dark Shadows.This figure captures Barnabas and its good for just looking at him. He has three heads for whatever strikes you. 1966 was a good year for the show although I didnt understand what I was looking at until 69. The music and the waves in the shows opening sequence was classic creepy. The figure works if you are a fan.But dont try to pose it without the stand. It takes some time to hide it without puckering the clothes.

In 1966, a soap opera called "Dark Shadows" premiered. It was the only soap opera of its kind, as it concerned the ghostly goings-on at a large Victorian mansion in Maine. The show was close to being cancelled, when creator Dan Curtis introduced the character of Barnabas Collins, a guilt-ridden 175 year old vampire. Virtually overnight, the ratings went throught the roof, and the show was saved. Anyway, this 12 inch articulated figure relives all my memories of the now classic show. I have also been collecting all of the show's 1,225 episodes on dvd. I still have quite a few more to go! Barnabas lives again!

My friend absolutely LOVES Dark Shadows so she will love this doll. It was a little above cost for a doll but still very nice and she will love it.
