Editorial Reviews

Review

The real deal tribute to the superbly talented and massively popular rap star, Eminem!

Features brand new renditions of songs from the bestselling 8 Mile soundtrack such as Lose Yourself, Rabbit Run and Rap Game plus covers of the hits singles from The Eminem Show Cleanin Out My Closet, Without Me, Business and more!

Eminem s popularity has risen to new, even more astounding heights, which means that this professionally made tribute will find an even bigger audience than the first!

Fans of Eminem will not be dissappointed!

Without a doubt, Eminem is one of the most dominant forces shaping the face and direction of not only the hip-hop genre but modern music in general. While his albums are unquestionably the standard-bearer in subversiveness and skill, Eminem s status as perhaps the most controversial figure in today s pop culture speaks volumes to both his profound sense of personal integrity as well as the American media s inablitity to deal with complex artists who defy cookie-cutter classification. His most recent release, the aptly titled and monstrously successful Eminem Show, plays like the ultimate in reality programming where no closet door goes unlocked and no intimate issue goes unexplored. As a fitting encore, Eminem exploded onto the silver screen with the semi-autobiographical blockbuster film 8 Mile, which featured a small but immensely important selection of new tracks that provide an exciting glimpse into the future possibilities of hip-hop music. Now, more than ever, is the time for those who have been inspired by the music of this incredibly talented superstar to come together and pay tribute. Here gathered is a richly diverse group of underground hip-hop producers and emcees who have reconstructed some of the highlights from Eminem s career. So, let s get down to business and enjoy this Shady Tribute To Eminem! --Cleopatra Records
