Zydeco Hounds' "Shake It Don't Break It" is excellent, December 28, 2007

With excellent recording, mixing, and production qualities, this studio-based CD is a wonderful Cajun music album. With old standards like "Jambalaya" done perfectly, its zenith is probably "Janine" or the B.B. King-like "What's Shakin' Down The Bayou." The drumming and backing vocals are especially strong.
The sixteen tunes on the CD also make it an excellent deal. I rate it excellent: five out of five stars.
