This book by Lee Cotten is unbelievable. It is like a diary of everytning that was happening in the world of Rhythm and Blues/Early Rock and Roll for each month of 1952, 1953, 1954 and 1955. It is a must for any serious rock and roll afficiendo. I tracked it down since I have Lee Cotten's "Reelin' & Rockin'" which chronicles R&R from 56-59. Both volumes are awesome.
