Good collection of lesser known songs., May 19, 1999

If you are looking for a collection of their biggest hits, this probably isn't for you--Proud Mary isn't even on this collection. For a true Tina Turner fan, this is a good addition to the Ike and Tina Turner collection. Because these are not the biggest hits, some of the songs are not the best, but Tina still manages to pack a lot of soul and passion into them. Other songs are very, very good and are worth having. There is some confusion with this set however: the CD's are also sold separately (although difficult to find) and are entitled: Keep on Pushing, Rockin' and Rollin', Come Together, Livin' for the City, and Nutbush City Limits. I ordered this set not realizing that I already had one of the CD's. All in all, it's well worth the 25 bucks!

Sounds as though it were recorded at a fifty-cent keggar. Lousy selecton of songs. Sounds like she was beat.
