Shakespeare agility 400 baitcaster,

Great bait casting reel for the money. I have purchased two of these. With any baitcaster reel I recommend using braided line. Mono is more prone to back lashes and birds nests. I do however have mono on one of the reels. Just be patient until you have time to stretch out the line. Bait casters usually hold 300 yards of line. I recommend using mono for the first 150 yards or so. Most braided line does not come in 300 yard spools making it expensive to feed. I have been impressed with the quality of this reel. It will be the perfect reel when paired with the right rod.
