I've been following Jeselnik's career and have been a fan for a while now so it was no surprise to find that this album is excellent and an absolute bargain at $7.99. I know firsthand how difficult it is to accumulate an entire set worth of short jokes and Jeselenik executes it flawlessly. His material is unique, intelligent and edgy and his misdirection is phenomenal. You won't be disappointed; This is the best comedy album I've heard since John Mulaney's The Top Part.

If you don't like comedy that makes you think, you may enjoy this. If you like comedy that makes you think, you'll love this. Great writing, great delivery!

Rock on, Anthony!

Personally I get a kick out of his sense of humor, he has great timing, and his jokes are twisted in an excellent way. This is the first time I heard his full stand-up routine (aside from some of the you tube bits), and I'm hoping he comes out with more.

This guy is absolutely hilarious! While he often goes for some shock value jokes, his material is very well-written and perfectly delivered. He might be a little offensive for some (not necessarily for language, but just for content in the jokes), but his jokes are perfect! I always laugh my *** off when I listen to this album!

A.J.'s comedic style is to misdirect. He does it perfectly through tone and pacing. I was holding my stomach laughing and looking like an idiot in the car.

I saw Anthony open for Brian Posehn and usually I don't expect much from an opening act, but this time I instantly became a fan. He is very dark in his comedy, an aspect I really appreciate. I would describe him as a dark Steven Wright (does anyone remember this guy, or am I completely dating myself). Anthony's dead pan delivery of these wry quick jokes that go very dark completely do it for me. Be warned, no subject is out of bounds with Anthony, so if you are sensitive about certain topics like abortion, this might not be for you.

If you are of a kind spirited nature, Anthony is not for you. If you can deal with extremely deranged jokes and you do not have children in the room with you, buy it, listen to it, soak it up, love it! Only a genius could think up some of the things that he comes out with.

I love Anthony Jeselnik. His dark humor is great. The only drawback to listening to his routine is that you can't see his devilish grin and the spark in his eyes when he says something exceptionally offensive. Had this been a video, I'm sure I would have given it 5 stars.

There are three very funny, brilliant and memorable jokes on here. The trouble is, he isn't convincing me he's really like this. For one-liners, Rodney Dangerfield could actually kill an audience during a whole set, without bringing it to your attention, and you never knew where he was going. The trouble with AJ's persona, is that the jokes get very predictable. After listening for 10 minutes, you realize that all of his jokes are going to be like this. I noticed another reviewer mentioned that you need to think to get these jokes, which is funny, because I thought of the punchlines a fair percentage of the time before he even said them. And who is the clown who produced this? They included an audience interaction that clearly requires visualization and makes no sense to the listener. And that just sucks b/c it wastes my time and bandwidth. Has some really funny moments, but...not enough for a whole cd.

I think Jeselnik is very funny, but he can also be very offensive. He's definitely full of himself which makes his jokes that much funnier. And sometimes being talked to like an idiot is what the audience likes.
