I was impressed with the quality of the rod and reel for the price. It's long, and not too heavy. The line that's already wound is not that great. If you are going to do some serious fishing, you may want to get some quality mono and put that on. I am over 6 feet, so for me its a good fit for salmon and surf.

Cheap rod, but performs great. I bought a couple of these as I was just starting surf-fishing. I didn't want to invest a large amount of money until I kept it up as a hobby. These rods are excellent for starters or for casual use. It's not the best rod out there (obviously as you can tell by the price difference), but it's a great value at such a low price, and the rods are great quality.

Good reel and rod I get 2 at diferet time good good prize And quality no bad I recomended to have fun Just change the line for best sirius. Fishing I set at 40 pounds line no problem
