I have used this rod and reel for a couple of months now, and I'm very pleased with the performance. I had considered spending much more for a nice ultra-light combo. I'm very happy that I didn't. I've landed a couple of good sized bass, with no problem. Catching a nice bluegill with this rod is a blast! I've mainly used it with a jig and bee moth, and the sensitivity is great. For the price, you can't beat the performance of this combo, and it seems pretty durable, so far.
