Real good rod at a nice price,

I purchased this rod to use with a shimano 6000SW twin power reel. Having own Shakespeare rods in the past, they are really strong when fighting large fish. Rod was built correctly and I didn't have any issures with its construction. Looks are great with the diamond wrap design, gold, red and black trim. I liked the fact that they still use the old aluminum oxide Fuji guides on this rod since they are still strong and cheaper than sillicon carbide and I never had any issues with them. I could have purchased a more expensive rod but I though I give it a try. I think others would agree that you cannot beat the quaility and price of this rod.

Great rod, fast tip and good backbone. I've had this rod a few weeks and have caught 30 inch grouper to big bull redfish. Rod has serious backbone and the split grips are placed at a good distance apart helping cast. Love these rods and I'm buying more......my friends think they are 100 dollar rods they way they perform and how much back they have.
