This review is from: Shakespeare the Papist (Sapientia Classics) (Paperback)
Admittedly, literary criticism and hstory don't have the same "proofs" as 2 =2 = 4; But Peter Milward has proved Shakespeare knew the people and the people who knew the Jesuits including Edmund Campanion, and wrote for the recusants persecuted during the English Reformation. He finds the evidence in Shakspeare's play and sonnets. Brillant. A nust read. Peter Milward, Oxford PhD, writes with evidence also from knowing and reasearching the Enlish history of the 16th and 17 century and has certainly convinced me. After years of research and reading 2 + 2 does = 4
