4.0 out of 5 stars I want to read Shakespear's original plays!, October 22, 2006
This review is from: Shakespeare: His Life and Plays (Penguin Longman Reader Level 4) (Paperback)
Everyone knows Shakespeare is the greatest writer in English Language. But no one knows the details of his life. Several writers wrote books about Shakespeare. But every book has uncertain parts and the writers only guessed it and wrote it. The writer of this book studied these books and wrote this book. The story starts with Shakespeare's birth and finishes with his depth. The plays that he wrote and private life of his is told along with timeline.

Before reading this book I'm not interesting in Shakespeare's play. But I'm very interesting in them now. Actually I haven't read the original play of his. I only read the Romeo and Juliet as a retold story with Penguin Readers Level 3. Now I want to read his original writings of plays because the author of this book says many times that the speeches in the Shakespeare's plays are beautiful.
This book was originally written for Penguin Readers Level 4 using 1700 headwords, and has about 15,100 words.

Happy reading!
