About the Author

Amy Cook is Assistant Professor at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her publications on cognitive science and Shakespeare have been among the earliest work integrating the study of cognitive science with theatre and performance. She has published articles in Theatre Journal and Bloom’s Modern Critical Interpretations series. She was a Mellon Fellow in dramaturgy, directing, and dramatic literature at Emory University in Atlanta from 2006-2008.
