This review is from: Shakespeare's Songbook, Vols. 1 & 2 (Audio CD)
This is an absolutely ravishing recording of songs from Shakespeare's plays, impeccably recorded and performed by artists of stunning ability. While being as faithful to period performance as possible, there is a very relatable and contemporary sound to these works.
It is impossible to single out one performer over any of the others; it's simply the best combination of talent one could hope for in a recording like this. For anyone interested in Shakespeare and/or in Renaissance English music, this is a must-have. (I was so impressed with this CD set that I've purchased the accompanying book as well!)

Perfect music but the vol 1 is already with the book "Shakespeare songbook". So I got two items of the first cd....
