Do not waste your time and money - It Stinks!,

OK, my expectation was not very high given the price. This low expectation was smashed when the flute was delivered. This flute smells terrible. It must be made from wet bamboo and immediately placed in a plastic bag, it has a rotting smell. The finger holes are not drilled, they are burned through the green bamboo. I could not bring myself to try to play the thing, it smells too bad to get close enough to play it.

Like those ambient and calming sounds of feudal Japanese music? Then get this! Are you a fan of Japan history and culture? Then get this! Enjoy playing and impressing your friends and family? Then get this! Though this product isn't made by a Japanese company, it's an excellent flute to start learning shakuhachi. From here, you can get a feel of how to play it and perhaps move on to higher levels. As you may have seen around, a shakuhachi can go for high prices, but with this one, you don't have to be afraid of using it too much! With free shipping, this deal can't be beat. There are other types of the same shakuhachi series by this company. Each one sounds plays in a different key. Specifically, this one plays in the key of E.
