Richly hued watercolor-and-ink illustrations depict a warm and loving family cherishing the ritual. Using the five senses as a framework for the text ("LOOK! What do you see? Three stars in the sky. It's time for Havdalah"), the author conveys each important component of the Havdalah service, ending with the familiar refrain, "Shavua Tov," a good week to come. For collections serving an observant Jewish population, this is a fine choice.
