Alberto, founder of The Four Winds Society, is trained as a psychologist and medical anthropologist, and has investigated the spiritual traditions of the Andes and the Amazon for more than 25 years. During an expedition to the Andes more than twenty-five years ago, Alberto discovered a group of healers who specialized in treating illness before it manifested in the physical body. They worked not on the physical body itself, but on the Luminous Energy Field surrounding it. The Luminous Energy Field is the blueprint that shaped and molded us since we were inside of our mothers' wombs. It encodes how we live, how we age, how we heal, and how we might die. It contains the memories of all our former lifetimes -- the way we suffered, the way we loved, how we were ill, and the way we died. In the East, these imprints are known as karma, forces that sweep through our lives like a giant tide that we cannot swim free of.
