Since i am a healer, this is naturally interesting to me. A healer by any name is usually suspect in the societal norms of the USA. It is good having a book written by two from the medical community, refreshing.

This is a: 'How to become a Shaman', instruction manual. If you have not studied how to prepare yourself mentally, physically and spiritually to become a Shaman, with this book you have and excellent start. There is sufficient detailed to start you along the way in this book. Try these also-Cell-Level Healing: The Bridge from Soul to Cell
The Healer's Manual: A Beginner's Guide to Energy Therapies (Llewellyn's Health and Healing Series)
Cell Level Healing is particularlly good. Small book, soooo much data.

There is much written to assist one wishing to become a healer.

This is a book that touches the center of you. Even as I have read about this subject before this one gives me a lot to add from every chapter.
I belive I'm gonna read this book over and over again and still find more to learn.
