IV. Sources and acknowledgements
The author touches on all these topics briefly, but concisely, and with power. If you have any interest in shamanism, this is the book to add to your library, along with the same authors' Shamanic Voices! This book will grant you access to the technicalities of shamanism, as well as a lay-out of the beliefs. This is a large format book, lavishly illustrated with priceless pictures. The Wounded Healer is wisdom, power, faith, nature, and above all truth. Highly recommended!!!

The very idea "Wounded Healer" -- get that under your skin and into your soul. Yes, the book is such a classic. It's been years since I physically saw this book. I recall it was not difficult to dig through. The front cover pic is Don Jose Matsua, Huichol Shaman with hawk feathers.(Brant Secunda's mentor). It's something just to see the picture of a young Brooke Medicine Eagle in the book. [research also Chiron in Greek mythology].
