This drumming CD, like his others, are not recorded well. The tones are mechanistic. It is also limited with regards to what you can do - a 15 minute journey and a 30 minute journey. For many years there were no other choices for drumming CDs for the shamanic journey, but now there are a lot to choose from! (My favorite is "Sacred Drums for the shamanic journey", by Laura Chandler.) Michael Harner is arguably one of the most important anthropological voices on the planet, but he is not a musician or a recording engineer. Read his book, "The Way of the Shaman", but you might be happier with a different drumming CD.

This is an excellent tool for those working on Shamanic Journeying as part of their shamanic medicine practices. The drum beats put you into the theta brain wave place necessary to allow you to conduct your Shamanic Journeying. It is beautiful music.

I've used this CD for journeying for almost a decade. This CD is my favorite drumming tool. The harmony of the drums is amazing. So many different timbers rise from them. Powerful stuff.

I have been using the Shamanic Journey Multiple Drumming CD for at least 5 years now. I use it when working with clients in shamanic sessions and for personal journeys as well. It has a clear sound and easy drum beat which helps me journey deeply when doing shamanic healing. I recommend this CD for beginners as well as experienced shamanic healers!

I carry out Shamanic Soul Retrievals and this item is worth its weight in gold. It is hypnotic but non intrusive. It is easy to journey with this as a background rhythm and it is pleasant for the client who is being treated. I have searched in vain for a CD with similar drumming and have listened to most, but this is the best.

I enjoy the extra boost of the multiple drums on this cd. I used it for many years. It gets the job done without getting all wrapped up in 'bells and whistles' like some other companies do with their stuff.

We use it daily in our meditation practices and it's really nice to be able to have drumming without needing another person to do it.

This is all a bit new to me but I really like the sound of the multiple drums. It is soothing and it's easy to get lost in the repetitive beat so if you are into journeying I'd recommend you give this one a try.

Good cd for journeying. I use it all the time. I don't want anything frilly or "beautiful." The point is to journey. This is my fav.
