Terrific! Very Fun & Uplifting!,

This review is from: Shamanic Songs & Ritual Chants (Audio CD)
I really enjoy this CD and was a bit surprised to see that no one has given it a review! Given its title, of course, it's Shaman-based. So, for the folks that are on the Nature-based/Shaman/Pagan path of spirituality or are just curious about our "circle songs", this CD is for you! It has all the songs that can be sung in a drum circle or around a campfire with friends (or like-minded people). If I am stuck in traffic or have had a stressful day, I just pop this CD in and it totally shifts my mood in a very uplifting way. A couple of my favorite tracks are "Sweet Surrender" and "Spiraling into the Center". However, all the songs are wonderful, inspiring and empowering! Another wonderful CD to add to this would be "Circle Round and Sing" by Anne Hill. It's more of the Goddess-based tradition and I feel it deserves 4.5 stars! Similar to "Shamanic Songs & Ritual Chants" above, the songs/chants honor Mother Earth and all her cycles, it's very childlike, playful and just brings out the child within! They're both worth buying and adding to your CD collection!

I really enjoy listening to this CD. The harmonies, drumming, and instruments are great for meditation or even just to destress while driving home from work.
