The more common warriors in the current age are those who are vigillant in the fight against fear and all the other negatives that flow from it (anger, jealousy, etc. are all caused by fear.) There are of course still warriors in the realm of matter: fireman, police, soldiers, but for most western people, they can opt out of those challanges. No one can opt out of the challanges of life, and the wisdom of these teachings are applicable to anything you want to work on.
