Shane Minor, who could very well be the new "male sex symbol" of country music, has earned five stars in my book for his self-titled debut album!! Shane presents a great mix of upbeat tunes and ballads, although I like his faster stuff better. "Slave to the Habit" is such a catchy song, that you are singing along to by the second chorus, and you find yourself tapping your foot to. The second track, "Ordinary Love" is also pretty catchy. Other recommended tracks are "Tell Me Now", "A Girl Like That" and "True to You". The songs on this album are written by some of Nashville's best.

The bottom line is that Shane Minor is a star in the making.

This album has only one really good song. He need to put more country in his music and not try to change country. We (the fans)know what we want and artist need to learn they aren't going to change what we like.

I don't see a lot of country in Shane's music. It's more of a pop album than anything else. I don't know why Nashville continues to promote new artists that try to change the sound of country music. KEEP IT COUNTRY!
