5.0 out of 5 stars Zowee....good stuff
In a day and industry where stories are stretched out, this Shanna trade is the exact opposite, full of fun, fast paced excitement delivered in a clever way. Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray and Khari Evans provide just a fun, action packed story that requires no back story, no history and won't leave you searching for another trade to finish the story. All inclusive ride...

3.0 out of 5 stars It still has dinosaurs...
I loved Frank Cho's Shanna miniseries that this is based on, but this collection leaves a little to be desired. It's obvious that since it's not Cho's work, you can't expect his luscious illustrations... and as an artist myself, I'm going to be a little picky... but Shanna's face often looks disturbing in a lot of the images in this comic. Most people probably won't be...

Most people probably won't be looking at her face though. For a fanservice book, it's okay. I do wish there had at least been a better story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good sequel to Frank Cho's book., April 20, 2008

This review is from: Shanna, the She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest (Paperback)
This is the sort of comic that is just plain fun. You have dinosaurs, a tough heroine, lots and lots of action. There isn't too much dialogue and it moves at a quick pace. It's a very entertaining read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvel's Bad Girl Of The Jungle Is Back!, December 4, 2008
This review is from: Shanna, the She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest (Paperback)
Shanna The She-Devil: Survival Of The Fittest is the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 graphic novel. In this book, Shanna and her friend, Doc, work together with a group of modern-day pirates to fight off man-eating dinosaurs, sabertoothed tigers, cavemen and a group of vengeful Hong Kong mobsters, The leader of the pirates and Shanna briefly fell in love at the end of the story(please keep in mind this is not the same Shanna that is married to Ka-Zar). The Shanna sequel is just as great to read as the first. Altough it is not for children, this graphic novel is perfect for any fan of the legendary Marvel jungle mistress!
