5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, July 14, 2002
This review is from: Shannon Miller: America's Most Decorated Gymnast : A Biography (Paperback)
This book goes into great detail about Shannon's gymnastics career from the beginning up until the 96 Olympics and her professional career. It's the best book I have read on her so far. This book is great for a fan who wants this book as a "map" of her career, or for someone who did not watch gymnastics before 96.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shannon Miller, Seven Time Olympic Medalist, July 10, 1997
By A Customer
Shannon Miller, America's Most Decorated Gymnast is a great easy to read biography. Krista Quiner did an excellent job telling about Shannon's days in the former Soviot Union when she was just nine. This book goes through her first day at Steve Nunno's gym, Barcelona in '92, the days everyone was saying she was past her prime in the sport, right up until the '96 Olympics. Shannon's courage to never give up because she was older than most of her competition won her two gold medals in Atlanta, the team gold and her gold for her balance beam routine. This absolutly the best book written about Shannon Miller

5.0 out of 5 stars Bringing us closer to a champion, January 31, 1997
By A Customer
This book was written very well. We all have watch Shannon Miller grow up in the sport of gymnastics, and this brings us even closer to her. From the beginning when she met Steve Nunno her coach, till just before the Olympics, this book gives us the ins and outs of what makes a champion. We learn everything from what her coach was like inside the gym to how she deals with fan mail to what her social life is like. Through this book, Shannon is seen as a real person, not just a gymnast. This is a must read for any fan

Here's another awesome gymnastics bio from Krista Quiner! This was a terrific, nice and detailed book about Shannon Miller's life. From the minute she was born to the end of the '96 Olympic Games, this book is the ultimate one to learn about Shannon Miller. The book had plenty of great information, and you learn tons and tons of stuff about her. There were also tons of awesome pictures too! This is a must-read for all gymnastics fans.
