No quality,

This review is from: Shaolin vs. Manchu (DVD)
The picture quality is just bad. Trailer is almost OK, which gives a chance to compare and evaluate. I did not want to watch more than 10 first minutes. Sound is non-existent too.It is too disturbing, even, if you are a fan of martial arts movies. Too cheap.

I thought it was going to be a great movie, and IT WAS! A great one indeed. You can see the secrets of Shaolin in this film. AN undercover spy that comes from the Manchus trains in the temple for 3 yrs. to kill the monks later on, and he kills a lot. But Shaolin wins in this one, dont listen to the dumb reviewer on top of this review. You'll witness the shaolin standing strong and not giving up. BUY IT NOW!

Another horrifically made kung-fu film; the fighting was stupid and sloppy, the plot was pure awful. Do not buy this, you will regret it!

This movie had to seriously cost nothing. The action is certainly not the worst, but when you have an action director who is obviously doing this for the first time, it's gonna suck. You will recognize the character rocky from other shaolin movies such as shaolin temple strikes back, shaolin the blood mission and out of danger, akk if which are very underrated. And the little gymnastic kid is in this one from shaolin vs. lama. But the manchu guys suck. I don't practice martial arts very seriously, but it sucks watching a movie when you know you can whoop on the villian. Kung fu movies need good villians. It is a neccesity in these cheapo movies. So the actors are pretty good at kung fu but are in a REALLY crappy movie.
The picture is actually pretty good, full screened of course, but more than watchable(if it was good). The sound is also very good, surprisingly. Obviously some people really like this for some reason so get the brentwood version you guys cause that is the one I have.
