5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have Book !
What a great book to add to a toddler's collection. This is a must have. Having fun, learning shapes and colors, and an easy read for a tired dad in the evening. Another 'must have' we've found are two in a series called WHAT IS ROUND? and WHAT IS SQUARE?....maybe even better because the images are real photographs and WOW talk about color. We pack ALL of these with...

3.0 out of 5 stars ok
I'm not a big fan of these books, but my daughter really enjoyed this book, if not for the story, for the lift the flaps and my improvisation of the story. I don't think this will ever be a classic, nor a story that has any content. But it definitely has that 'Blue' appeal that infants and toddlers love.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a Toddler Book, Not a Baby Book, January 25, 2000

This review is from: The Shape Detectives (Blue's Clues) (Board book)
The artwork in this book is excellent! Just as good as the TV show. My 13-month-old son loves to look at the pictures in this book, and open the flaps, but tends to lose patience with the words. I think he might enjoy it more in 5 or 6 months, when he can identify shapes better.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good book for little fans of Blue and who like to open and close., February 23, 2006
This review is from: The Shape Detectives (Blue's Clues) (Board book)
I have a little guy that enjoys opening and closing just about everthing and who also likes Blue, so he really enjoys this book. I think that he is a little young for the content, he is 18 months, but it will be a book that he can grow with. For anyone with a little person at home that enjoys Blue's Clues, this is a good book at a good price!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for a toddler, but for her parent?, February 12, 2010

I was given a very worn torn up copy of this as a hand me down for my 2 year old. She has torn nearly every remaining flap off of it, but she still LOVES it. I'm actually ordering a new one because our old one is unreadable. I find it quite tiresome myself, but since it's a big hit with the 2 year old, I guess it does it's job!

3.0 out of 5 stars A Little Disappointed, February 12, 2007
This review is from: The Shape Detectives (Blue's Clues) (Board book)
First of all - it's a good product. I was a little disappointed to the fact that my son did not play with it very much. It wasn't because of the item itself - he has moved to "Blue's Clues" to everything has to be "Thomas and Friends". So if your child is really interested in Blue's Clues - then I would highly recommend getting it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute book, February 10, 2007
This review is from: The Shape Detectives (Blue's Clues) (Board book)
I thought this was a cute book and my son seemed to like the pictures. My son is 2 and I am not sure he was able to get all the comcepts of the book but perhaps later on?

5.0 out of 5 stars Learning with Blue, September 7, 2006
By
This review is from: The Shape Detectives (Blue's Clues) (Board book)
My daughter loves Blue's Clues and this book is no exception. She loves to lift the flaps where Blue is "hiding" and then close it again saying "where's blue?". She already knows the basic shapes but it is great fun for her to tell me which shapes Blue has found. A fun book to read and great interaction with the lift the flap items; highly recommended!
