People ought to know that the pace of this cd runs from 136 beats per minute to 144 before cooling down.

Excellent CD! It gets you moving as soon as you plug in your headphones. I walk for 60 minutes listening to this CD, and I don't even realize how long it's been. The music arrangement includes warmup and cool down songs too!

Keeps you going,

I teach an Advance Cardio Karate Class and this really spiced things up. I have gotten good reviews on the energy and how quickly the class went past. Some of the songs are too disco for me but the others make up for it. It brings back good memories. The inside cover lets you know how long the song is and how many beats per minute.

BMP to fast for ellipitcal or treadmill. Music was of poor selection. I wasn't moving and grooving. But, it does keep you instep.

Terrible Music,

After listening to Cardio 2 which was very good, Cardio 3 was a real disappointment. It did not sound like original artist music to me. The beat was fast, which was okay, but I tried listening twice, and I couldn't stand it. I like disco, but this was garbage.

For me, this music is fantastic. It lasts exactly one hour, which is perfect for my workout. I also like that the beat keeps you pumping at a high level. I haven't yet gotten bored with the music, and I like that one song just merges into the next without any pause. I would like to get another Shape Cardio tape based on this purchase, but am having trouble after reading the reviews, and listening to some of the selections. I definitely want to keep the BPM's higher than 125...any suggestions?

Deep Water Aerobics,

I have been using deep water aerobics for my fitness routine, and while this CD starts out a little fast (I just cut my bps to 1/2 time for the first two songs for warm-up), it really gets you moving! I was able to adapt my entire routine to this CD - and highly recommend it.
