Sisterless?, March 14, 2010

I purchased this CD because, as Amazon clearly knows, I will want anything that includes Sting. I had previously known of this piano artist only as a member of a classical piano duo with her sister - often wondered what became of them as they disappeared off the scene some time ago. She is an accomplished and interesting pianist - interesting in that she is eager and willing to go beyond the "norm" and use her talent and keyboard expertise to investigate and explore the old and new in innovative ways. I enjoy her collaborations on this CD - it is very listenable, although not one of my great favorites in my collection. Nice to play occasionally, but does not especially move or excite me, which is what I am usually looking for in music listening.
