The only time I ever heard this song was while watching "Wild in the Streets" (the less said of this movie, the better). This music is perfect for me to keep pace and it's a pretty catchy song. Too bad it doesn't get any play time anywhere.

This classic period piece, which appeared over the closing credits of 1968's "Wild in the Streets" has been largely ignored by oldies radio, but has been introduced to new generations through it's use in a heavily run TV ad by a major retail chain. At under 2 minutes long it's a vintage piece of power-pop. The sound quality belies it's age, though the arrangement clearly pinpoints it in the late 60s. A sweet piece of ear candy, well worth the small download price.
I only wish other songs from the movie were available. 40 years later, they may be laughable novelties, but they're well worth owning. Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil did themselves proud by songs like this.
