I must own own at least a dozen instructional golf book... maybe a couple of dozen. (I lost count because many are stored away.) No instructional book that I have ever read has broken the elements of the golf swing down into such simple, piece by piece segments, the way Byron's book does. Complimenting Byron's writings are the finely detailed drawings of Anthony Ravielli, Ben Hogan's illustrator for 5 lessons.

Understanding the fundamentals of the golf swing is the first order of business for any aspiring golfer. Then... long hours at the practice range, and on the golf course, to work out and apply these various "theories." But they're not really theories. They are fundamentals that have been battle-tested and proven in competition at the highest level by one of the great masters of the game. Listen: I happen to think that you would be very, VERY hard-pressed to find a better "grounding" in the fundamentals of the golf swing than you will find in this rare, little known gem of a book.

A timeless book that is one of the classics of golf teaching. I rank it up there with Harvey Penick's books. Byron makes the game simple and outlines swing guidelines that still work great in the modern era. While ability has a lot to do with it the guidelines in this book can improve anyone's golf swing.

Byron Nelson invented the modern golf swing. This book breaks it down clearly and quickly. It is so well written that you can almost hear Nelson describing the technique. If you are a beginner or low capper, read this book. Underrated and Awesome!

A good book if you love golf. It has quite a few helpful tips. Of course, Nelson is an extremely important figure in the game and anything he has to say is worth listening to.

Wanted to have it as a 2nd copy. One of the best book I've read on golf instruction. Arrived earlier than expected and in the condition advertised.
