As someone who cares deeply about the Jewish education of her child, I was so pleased by this book! Each shape corresponds to several traditional Jewish ritual objects, and alludes to various Jewish holidays and practices, like Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Shabbat, and Tu b'Shevat. The book also contains several common colors, which I think will help my child learn about this, as well.I believe this book will help my daughter make lots of positive and educational Jewish associations, and am very happy I bought it. Since she is very little, it hasn't been tested for physical durability yet, which may be the one downside, but at this price, you can just buy another one later!

OK, dude, an apple is not really a circle. Maybe you think I am nitpicking, but go get an apple out of the fridge and trace it. See? This book is confusing our youth. My six month old is less than impressed with it. Go with the Jewish Lights books instead.
