About the Author
Jake Billingsley, a native Texan, was born in Tyler, raised in Texarkana, and currently lives in McKinney. He writes a weekly column for the Sherman Democrat and is a highly sought-after speaker. He has served as senior officer of several large real estate companies in the Dallas metroplex, guided big game hunters as president of Rocky Mountain Outfitters, hunted grizzly bear in Siberia with a bow and arrow, and competed in a number of triathlons and Masters swim meets. It’s no wonder CBS picked Jake to be on the award-winning CBS television show Survivor: Thailand at age sixty.
