I've read this book four times already, and I always discover something new. Make yourself a pot of tea, grab a blanket, and park on the couch with your cats, because you won't be going anywhere until you finish reading the book. Each piece combines deep insight, helpful hints, and enough humor to make you forget you're learning. Stock up on frozen white grape juice concentrate and chicken, because the awesome recipes will make your tummy grumble. No matter your age, gender, background, sexual orientation, location, or species, the book will speak to you and bring out the wonderful lunacy within. Francesca makes me proud to be a crazy cat lady.

Francesca de Grandis wrote one of my favorite pagan books of all time: "Be a Goddess" and I love her blog and writing ever since. With "Share My Insanity" I had my problems first. Why? Because it so special in many ways and written in such an unusual manner, that first you don't know how to label it. A twisted biography? A weird self-help book? Is it about you? Is it about the author? Her experiences? Is the chaotic writing style with all those additional notes intended? Hell Yeah. It is, and Francesca mentions this at the very beginning (so my confusion just based on expectations). And so she invites us to definitely share her insanity and learn from it. Learn to let loose a bit. To be yourself. Learn about some necessary willpower and discipline but most of all learn about trust! Into yourself. Into life. Into the Universe/GodDesses and GoDs. And all that because of the fact that life is as unpredictable and weird as we all are and feel sometimes. Got It :)? In any way it is an invitation into a woman's life, who was and is tested herself and still succeeds because of her devotion to the community and to her calling. Is it a weird self help book? Yes! Is it a funny self help book? Yes! A tragic one? Yes! But most of all, it is a highly interesting crazy mix that unfolds and inspires while reading. Very unusual for the genre it is published in, but nourishing on every page. Share her insanity and learn to be yourself!
