5.0 out of 5 stars Sharing Grandma's Gift, March 12, 2001
This review is from: Sharing Grandma's Gift (Hardcover)
From the time I first read the first draught of this book I knew it would be a special gift to be a part of it's creation. Sharing Grandma's gift is a true story about a gift from the heart. Shelley has captured the love of a family and the importance of tradition with her words. As the Illustrator of this book, I am of course partial to the Beautiful illustrations and design of the book that I was blessed enough to be able to produce for this project. From the beautiful story of three loving generations of women, to the hope Shelley gives to the children she has granted wishes for through Make a Wish Foundation. The true gift has been given to us to share in this story and pass on to our own children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written..., May 27, 2001
This review is from: Sharing Grandma's Gift (Hardcover)
Sharing Grandma's Gift is a book that speaks of a love that transends all. With each stitch of the quilt you see how the stories of a family are woven together and passed down from generation to generation. A gentle tool for opening up communication with children on the difficult subject of death. A book that shows that love facilitates healing.
