Good product for the price, September 6, 2005
This review is from: Shark CW240 Bagless Water Filtration Vac (Kitchen)
This product does a lot. This is not a carpet shampooer, so please be aware of that before you purchase. It is a vacuum, a sweeper, and a water extractor. Personally, I have found this to be one of the best buys I have made. The suction is really good, and the flexibility from going from carpet to bare floor is great. You don't have to change the attachment unless you want. The only downside, which I consider minor, is you have to dump the water and it's a cumbersome task if you are cleaning a lot of rooms. Warning-the water does not smell good once you are finished. However, when you see the amount of hair and dirt lifted, it's well worth the price. The added feature of having no exhaust coming from the cleaner itself is an extra added bonus which I really loved. There is nothing more annoying than having a vacuum blow dirt back out when you are trying to vacuum. Another review said the attachments were cheaply made. I disagree. I have used this a lot since my purchase and never had a problem.

Who needs a Rainbow?, November 3, 2006
This review is from: Shark CW240 Bagless Water Filtration Vac (Kitchen)
I was shopping for a Rainbow e2 on ebay and ran into a merchant that was advertising the Shark H2O Bagless and bragging about it that his wife loves it and that it was much better than the Rainbow, boosting 1100v of power. Apparently he's a reseller and believer. I decided to scope out Amazon and see if they had it first, before bidding on it through ebay. His starting price was ~$300. To my amazement Amazon had it AND the machine was loved by the majority of the users and it had a low price of $150 (if you use the evoucher NOVSAVER ). I decided to give it a shot and if I don't like it then sell it on ebay for twice as much. The machine arrived today 10/3/2006. Very easy to use. I added the water and vacuumed an area that was just vacuumed by my wife. It was incredible! When we looked at the water ... it was gray and full of dust, hair, trash ... amazing! This machine is obviously a great buy for us. You cannot lose for $150 (includes tax and shipping through Amazon prime). Think about it. It does not need any filters, does not produce any dust while cleaning or when its time to empty it, has incredible power and comes with attachments for your wood floor, carpet, water, auto and furniture. The Rainbow that my neighboor bought cost her $2100. I recommend it and for $150, I am giving it a solid 5 stars.

Great Bargain., April 13, 2004
This review is from: Shark CW240 Bagless Water Filtration Vac (Kitchen)
This machine all and all it does what it says it does. I love the fact that I don't have to deal with filters and left over dust in the air. The attachments are not that bad, they seem to do their job. Also the power that this machine has cleans a room in minutes. I think for what you are getting, its great bargain.
