I have had over the years probably 10 vacuum sweepers. I like a cannister. this one is about the best one I have had, especially for the price. I have had the Oxygen by "electrolux" ($350)and eurekas, a Kirby,and the last one before this was a Hoover tunnel cannister, which was awful.. no suction, but that is another review.
This one with the hepa filter bags really does a great job not putting dirt back into the air, and is very versitile, for stairs, above the floor cleaning and under furniture. The head comes off easily with a foot pressure release. the attachments go on easily. It is a little hard to get used to just popping on and off the attachments with no buttons to push, and the handle to get into the pushing position. But once you understand the principle behind the design it is fairly easy. It has great suction, almost as good as the old Kirby from years ago,and that is what I buy a vacuum for. The bonus I like is on hard floors it doesn't shoot the dirt out the back with the brush on, like most others I have tried.

I bought this vacuum (not on Amazon) and it's horrible. The attachments are imposible to change, the power nozel is very stiff and hard to vacuum with, and I ended up breaking some of the attachments trying to put them on and take them off. I wouldn't suggest this vacuum.
