4.0 out of 5 stars Nice inexpensive steamer
This is a nice, small clothing steamer. I purchased it for simple jobs and it works well. My only gripe with it is that the steam condenses in the hose and puddles, causing blockages. So, if you are going to buy this then make sure you place the unit ON THE FLOOR when steaming so any condensation runs back into the water container. If you hang it from your shoulder or...

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Steamer & Terrible Seller
Have always loved a steamer vs. ironing. Thought this would be a good product. If the steamer is not 100% full it sprays hot water everywhere, soaking your clothes. Also did not have a very powerful steam. Only maybe works on the lightest material. Contacted the seller regarding a return or even a store credit. NO response. Where has customer service gone?! You would...

So, if you are going to buy this then make sure you place the unit ON THE FLOOR when steaming so any condensation runs back into the water container. If you hang it from your shoulder or on the storage hook during use and the hose forms a "U SHAPE" in use, there will be a lack of steam.

I really like this steamer a lot. It does not take up a lot of space and it really works. Gives out a good stream of steam...just let it heat up for a few minutes.

1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING!!! Dangerous!, March 7, 2010
This review is from: Shark Super Garment Steamer, SC637 (Kitchen)
Ok, so I bought this at a retail store and threw away the receipt. Unfortunately I do not know if I can trade it in for another try.
As my title says, WARNING. I burned myself with this steamer. AT first, it did work. It only worked for one or two days. I do not steam that often, but when I wanted to steam for a third time, I realized it no longer was producing steam. So I let the steamer on longer before I tried again. This time water SPLASHED out of the hose. It was actually spitting out hot scalding water. I burned my hand that night and called it a night. Later on my friend wanted to steam something. I warned him about it. Once again hot water was coming out of the hose. Luckily we stood back and watched it.
Tonight I am actually giving it another chance. I'm looking at it right now, seeing no steam come out. But I fear trying to look into the hose. I suggest you all to look for something else. I myself am going back to the good old iron and board.
