4.0 out of 5 stars Now Useful...
well this may not have been that useful since most people dont use gameshark or the like....

but now that the PS2 is going to be online, this is going to be very useful since the chat system will be available and it will make it absolutely nice to chat using our most familiar method: the keyboard...though it might not be so great, i dont like many accessories from...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, but cheap quality
Well I ordered it on sale (...), good deal. Once I recieved it, the cord is only about 3 ft. long and keys feel that they could pop right off. The board also feels that it could snap with to much pressure applied to it. Pretty much, if it goes on sale pick one up or wait until Sony releases a much sturdier one (...).

This is a keyboard. ... this is NOT a Sony keyboard. It is made by Interact Accessories. It works like a keyboard(no surprise there). The fact that this is a USB device and is compatible with a PC leads me to believe that any cheap USB keyboard from Circuit City or CompUSA would work also. It is a keyboard and works like a keyboard. If you really want a keyboard, buy it. You probably won't use this very often so I don't see why you'd want it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Iy works, but it's not unique..., April 21, 2002

The sharkboard definitely performs as advertised, but just as an experiment, I plugged in two different USB keyboards. First, I tried a generic USB keyboard I use with my laptop. That worked just as well. Then, for the ultimate, I tried my Logitech Cordless keyboard. That worked great, and no cord! By the way, the cordless mouse didn't seem to work, but I didn't pursue it further.

The Sharkboard is nice if all you want is a little help adding Gameshark codes, but for more flexibility, try other USB keyboard products.

4.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for!, September 19, 2002

I bought this keyboard mainly for chatting online with my PS2. It works without any problems, but the keyboard is kind of flemsy and the keys don't have that same feal as my computers keyboard. But for the price its worth it. And it looks good, and it has all the keys that my computers keyboard has. It works with the computer too but i don't recommend it for that. But for the PS2 it's a good buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must-have item for GameShark2 users!!!, October 28, 2001
This review is from: SharkBoard (Video Game)
While it is quite possible to enter GameShark2 codes using just a standard PS2-compatible controller, the SharkBoard offers several advantages. First, simply pressing the appropriate key is MUCH faster than maneuvering through the possibilities with the controller. Secondly, when entering in the names of games and codes, using the controller WILL NOT allow you to enter in numbers and some symbols, which can be bad when trying to enter in "F1 2001" as a new game.

The only real drawback to the SharkBoard is that the USB cord is a little shorter than I would personally like. This can obviously be remedied by using a USB extension cable, but given the item as shipped, I find myself sitting a little too close to the TV than I would like (my PS2 console sits on top of the TV). Also, while certainly not a necessity, a Caps Lock indicator light would be nice, but at about $20, this is certainly not an important feature to have for a keyboard I do not plan to use on a daily basis.

I htink that this Shark Board 4 Playstation 2 is an ok item but i think it is not useful with most games and that it should be rated 1 for performence, because what are you going to do with a shark board if its not compaible with all games and its only compadible with the ones that say it is and its only compadible with the GameShark for Playstaion 2 and i think that it should be rated 1 for performance, excellence, and any other think u should have to rate it by!! Althought it helps u complete cheats eaisier i think it is a piece of garbag!!
