If you are a shark enthusiast, or a student in the biological sciences, this is an excellent book to own. The technical writings are excellent and you would not be able to find them elsewhere, unless your library carries elsamobranch periodicals. The technical writing is probably too much for the casual shark buff or even first year undergrads, and this is not meant as an introduction to the world of sharks. If you want to learn the "inner workings of sharks" and don't mind the price, this is a good reference book to own.

Every elasmophile should have this in their library! It's incomparable to anything else out there. Truly an excellent work.
