Replacement drum worked for about 3 weeks then failed. Had to spend a lot of money for a repair technician to come out. He said the drum I had bought online was no good. He guessed that it had been exposed to light prior to being sold! Bottom line I had to dig deep into my pockets to have my amazon drum replaced within a month.

Don't waste your time or money with this product!

Maybe I'm being overly picky, but when you use a name like "Sharp AL-100DR - Compatible Sharp AL-100DR Drum" don't you expect to get a drum made by Sharp? I know that "compatible" is usually the code word for "cheap knock off", but when you use the OEM manufacturer's name TWICE in your product title that's more than a bit deceptive.

As far as the drum itself, it seems to be working okay so far. I've found that the "compatible" versions don't last as long as the OEM drum, but I'm not sure if this drum is from the same manufacturer of other knock offs I've used.
