I got two pair of these glasses with our Sharp 3D TV and have since bought 5 more pair of them. These glasses give you just spectacular 3D with this TV (and the TV by the way is superior to any we looked at). The glasses even come with two different sized nose pads for youth and adults to make them more comfortable. Also a felt case, cleaning cloth, and very small screwdriver set. They fit very well and do not slide on your nose. If you are watching TV with a crowd and decide you do not want to watch the movie in 3D for some reason, the glasses have a 2D button so you can watch the movie in 2D while the others are still watching in 3D. I read in one review where someone said the glasses turn off the 3D setting off and on. This is because they are made to turn off the 3D if you turn your head away from the TV or they will also do this if something might be in your line of vision like a TV tray. I noticed that you cannot have anything interrupting your line of vision. But this is not really a problem at all. If you glance away, as soon as you turn your head back toward the TV they come back on. When you put them on initially, you hold the button down which is located on the top of the glasses stem, for about 3 seconds and the 3D will come on. If you push it once more after that, it will go to 2D vision. And if you push it for about 2 seconds, it turns the glasses off. These glasses are the most comfortable fit of any of the 3D glasses also. All in all, they are marvelous.

These 3D glasses are excellent and probably the only choice if you own a sharp 3D TV. They use button cell CR2032 lithium ion batteries, which I got cheap at Amazon.com (a pack of 5 for $2.50). Some TVs use rechargeable glasses, but who has time to recharge each glass and would require a charging cable etc.
These glasses come with nose clip for kids, glass cloth bag, cleaning cloth and mini-screwdriver kit as well.
I have bought 4 of these glasses.

Purchased these to use with my new Quattron 3D TV from Sharp. Couldnt find the red model in stock so I went with the silver version. The glasses are not bad, with my only complaint being the side arms which do not go back far enough to fully top my ear (I have a big head). As to 3D function, they work awesome. At first I was not happy they use batteries instead of a dock base or charger, but after a while, I actually came to prefer that they use batteries (the very common CR2032 watch battery). You can buy 10 batteries (75 hours each roughly) for about $10, so quite a minor expense. They shut off automatically after 3 min too, if they do not detect a 3D signal, so no unwanted battery burnout. Of course, like others note, the glasses have the ability to watch in 2D for those who have vision problems (or only one usable eye) while others watch in 3D. Overall, I give the glasses a 4.5 out of five. Nice unit with only small ergonomic changes needed.

These are my first 3-D glasses ever, and first 3-D TV to go with them. I received these as a bundle deal with my Sharp Aquos 60" LED TV and they seem to work very well and are of nice quality. I have no complaints at all and can't think of any downside to them.

Got two of these for my 3D 52" Sharp TV. They work great, and fit good.

Not sure how battery life will be but is claimed to be around 75 hours of use.

They are not rechargeable :( (Sharp has a newer line due out any week that is but got tired of waiting as has been due out for 2 months now).

These also make a faint clicking/ticking type sound when they are active with a 3D image but you can't hear them unless you mute the TV. I guess its normal because I got 2 of these and they both do it. Probably has to do with the fact they are "Shutter Glasser" and thats just how they work

Overall I think for the price they are good, as most are more $$. I wish Sharp would have released the black rechargeable ones sooner but I got tired of waiting and Amazon had a great deal so I got these instead.

They have a usb port and it says they can be powered by that (why you would or how you would who knows) but you can't charge them of course as not rechargeable so makes one wonder what the point of the port was.

Anyway I would have gave them a 5 out of 5 if not for the clicking. I can't complain about the recharging too much as I purchased them knowing they can't, is more of a rant/complaint that Sharp is taking forever to release them in the USA...

The clicking seems to be normal due to both doing it and the type of technology it is, but would still like more if it was silent, ehe.

I rated this product highly because teamed up with my Sharp 3D TV the 3d effect is excellent. When the glasses "kick in" and switch to 3D, the picture gets darker. The TV has a setting that makes it brighter in 3D, and this compensates for the glasses.

Every once in a while, the glasses kind of turn off and you lose the 3D effect for a moment. I am curious how the glasses work, but if you turn away from the set with the glasses on, they momentarily turn off. This wasn't a serious issue, but it did happen a couple of times. Obviously, there is some synchronization technology built into the glasses diode mechanism that is triggered by the TV set.

If you watch 3D TV with anyone else, they will need a pair of glasses too. I originally bought two pairs but the second one was backordered. The company made a mistake and charged me for both, but they corrected their error immediately when I called. This is not related to the performance of the Sharp glasses and is noted just as a warning.

So I recommend the Sharp glasses for stunning 3D viewing of Blue-Ray disks. Avatar in 3D is fantastic. My Fios system now offers 3D programs that work really well too. Setting up the Sharp 3D TV was a little tricky, so watching a 3D movie is a bit of an event that takes some planning.
