The Actius RD10 provides the power and viewing capability of a desktop computer and adds integrated IEEE802.11b Wi- Fi wireless technology and audio-video entertainment in a portable design. With its amazingly bright 15" LCD display with wide viewing angles, IntelPentium4 2.80GHz Processor, 512 MB RAM (expandable to 768 MB), NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go video chip and approx. 60GB hard drive, the Actius RD10 provides even the most demanding user with real desktop performance.

The remarkably bright 15-inch XGA LCD display and NVIDIA GeForce 4 420 Go video chip (32 MB external memory) provide easy-on-the-eyes desktop viewing capabilities. The wide palm rest area and userfriendly full-size keyboard with a 3mm key stroke ensure a comfortable typing experience.

The Actius RD10's CD-R/RW & DVD-ROM drive with buffer underrun protection is compatible with CD-R, CD-RW and DVD-ROM media, allowing you to back up important data on CD as well as watching DVD movies wherever you like.

Quick and great for Graphics,

I bought this laptop as a stand alone computer to work with Photoshop and other graphics programs along with a Wacom tablet. I love it. The battery life is short, though, so if that's a consideration, beware. I get about 45 mins. off my battery. But, the built-in card slots for Sony memory sticks, compact flash cards, smartmedia, etc. make this a great choice if you have multiple products in addition to this laptop. I love mine. It's very fast, and also good with games. The monitor is very bright and clear.

I've had this notebook for about a year and a half now, i have been totally satisfied with its performance untill the battery died. I have tried to find a new one at best buy, circuit city, ebay, amazon, and other numerous places and no one has one and they can't special order one for me. So overall i am happy but after only a year and a half of use, and having to keep it indoors i wish i would have bought a different brand.

I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who needs to carry it around as it is heavy, but otherwise it is the best laptop I've ever used. It has a desktop processor so it's not limited. The main thing I like is the screen, which is brighter than other brands and looks good from any angle. Good design aesthetically too.
