I purchased this LCD tv after a disappointment with the 15" Samsung LN-R1550, whose picture over coax and overall aesthetics left much to be desired (you may read my Amazon rating on the Samsung).

For the kitchen, the Sharp hit the mark. Bright screen. Much improved picture over coax (vs. Samsung). And great design to boot. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating was lack of GREAT sound (vs. Samsung). Believe all the hype about Aquos. It's a great product that looks very slick.

I love my tv.. I've had it for 2 months and its a perfect size for my small kitchen.I have it hooked up to a VHF/UHF antenna. The sound and quality of the picture is excellent. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.

This is an excellent TV. Great picture quality and looks good hanging on the wall. The only thing I would say could be better is the sound - good be louder. We have it in the kitchen and sometimes have it on max and with all that is going on it needs to be louder.
Course given the size it's probably not intended to throw sound that far.
Definitely recommend this TV.
