I run a home business and keeping books is a critical part of my daily work. I needed a calculator that had large numbers, larger keys and printed off tape.

Scrounging around Amazon.com I came across several models that would have done the job well. I have had Sharp calculators in my office at work, and know this to be a reliable brand.

I came across this particular model, and having done some on line research, Amazon had the cheapest price of anyone on this model.

I have to say that I have not been disappointed in this purchase. It is a very reliable calculator, the paper tape with 2 color printout is very readable, and the numbers are large, well lit and the keys fit my big fat fingers. It has some great features like percentage and sales tax that you can place the sales tax % in memory. There are other tax functions as well.

This calculator does not take batteries, and that's fine cause it's a waste of money to put batteries in one of these.

This is a good calculator and one that I do recommend for the home office.

Our business requires we use a calculator, and this is the first one I have bought. It works great, simple and the tape is a standard tape size so I can get it at my local grocery store. Very nice.

This calculator is of the highest quality and and rates a superior performance grade for a desktop unit. The print is extremely legible and remains so on the paper even in a closed book (ledger) environment. I highly recommend this product!

I don't really have a lot to add to what has been written here except to say that I purchased this from Amazon about three years ago, it has been plugged in and on nearly the whole of those three years, and it continues to work great.

Admittedly, some of the accounting functions are not self-explanatory, so I've needed to refer to the owners manual a few times, but the ease of the keypad and the easy to read display make this the best calculator for the money. It is possible to buy cheaper, and spend more, but this calculator offers the most for the money. Reccommend to anyone serious about performing routine accounting and tax calculations.

I purchased this for my husband who is a CPA. He has started tax season and is quite pleased with it.

I like this calculator. The print display is very large and lighted. Also the buttons for the numbers are larger than my old one was. Also was very easy to learn how to use.

Good machine, for the money. Noisey, stiff keyboard, not what I wanted for the office.

When my old calculator died I decided to try something new. This calculator is large, has a great tactile feel and prints in clear, dark tones (two color printing.) I paid roughly half for this model over what I paid for my Canon printer many moons ago and yet I'm not the least bit disappointed. If you want an excellent calculator at a reasonable price you won't go wrong with this model.

Thanks Sharp for an excellant calculator, I especially like the large keys and the large lighted numerals, I have had Sharp's before and they have been very good. Also Thanks Amazon for the quick delivery.
