The Black TFT-enhanced screen boasts 9,000-degree K color temperature for warmer reds and cooler blues. The screen combines an antiglare treatment with a low-reflection coating to ensure brighter pictures and more vivid colors than conventional LCD displays under similar conditions, and the monitor is compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats.
A built-in 181-channel tuner lets you plug your cable TV right into the LC-10A3US and start watching, and two speakers frame the unit on either side and produce high-quality stereo audio. In addition, the LC-10A3US's digital comb filter enhances resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).

Excellent little LCD TV,

This review is from: Sharp LC-10A3US 10-Inch LCD Flat-Panel TV (Electronics)
The Sharp LC-10A3U has a very small screen (10.5 inches) which makes it ideal for desktop or kitchen use. It is also extremely thin and unlike other Aquos TVs it has a small stand that helps save precious desk space.Image quality is great but be aware that the viewing angles are not as good as the newer, 13- and 15-inch models'. I use the LC-10A3U mostly for cable TV viewing and as a DVD monitor with the audio/video/S-video inputs. The cable tuner is a useful feature but it's when I'm wathcing my DVDs that this TV really amazes me with very sharp, crystal-clear pictures. Mind you, the stereo sound (only available when in A/V mode) is a bit tinny but then again this is a small 10" TV with tiny speakers so what do you expect! Build quality is excellent, with solid materials and great fit & finish (these TV's are made in Japan). All in all, this is great little TV and I highly recommend it.
