These models with the GD in the middle of the model number are the newer ones which don't require a separate box and have all inputs built in.

The most convenient built in is the cable card ready feature which is not written up here in the official review. The cable company can just install a cable card, and they don't need to rent you a box -- the inconvenience is that digital channels are a separate input than analog, but all look great!

Because we already have satellite boxes for both dish and directv we loved that we don't need a cable set top box as well.

(My husband couldn't bear to live with the fact that on a few days of bad weather a year, we might not have satellite reception, or if our dishes were blown out of alignment in a storm, which does happen sometimes too... which is why we have both cable and satellite )

I knew it was too good to be true but these false sellers are taking up space on this website.

The sellers that are posting LCD tv's for $300-$1000 should be banned from selling items on this site as they are not really for sale. What are you gaining from wasting a real buyer's time and ruining the website for actual sellers and buyers?

I am sure it is a great TV, but if you buy it from the "cheap"

marketplace sellers you will never see it.

Learn from my mistake: NEVER buy any other way but directly

through amazon.com.

Don't send money with "Western Union", don't use Square Trade or

any escrow services. If the buyer needs to be contacted before

the sale,or you try to buy through amazon.com and there "out of"

the item at this time......be alarmed!!!

Sounds too good to be true.....it is too good to be true!!!
